CARTERSVILLE, Ga. – Mike Vaughn Racing has become the first team to enter the Possum Town Grand Prix on Nov. 25-27 at Magnolia Motor Speedway, with Ken Schrader and Johnny Stokes set to drive for the team.
Schrader will drive an open-wheel modified baring his familiar No. 9, while Stokes will drive an entry carrying his customary No. 1.
Schrader and Stokes will reunite after their November 2020 roles as teammates in the Vaden Chevrolet Modified class at the Talladega Short Track in Eastaboga, Ala. Stokes won the race and Schrader finished fourth. Schrader joined an impressive list of winners with Mike Vaughn Racing on Oct. 10 when he drove the No. 9 Vaden Chevrolet Lightning to victory at Rome (Ga.) Speedway.
Mike Vaughn Racing has fielded dirt late models and modifieds for more than 25 years. Among those that have driven Mike Vaughn Racing include Schrader, Stokes, Jeff Purvis, Mike Head, Ronnie Johnson, Marshall Green, Justin Wakefield and Don Jenkins.
