WEEDSPORT, N.Y. — With scattered showers scheduled to turn into widespread rainfall throughout the afternoon in Weedsport, Super DIRTcar Series and Weedsport Speedway track officials have been forced to cancel Sunday’s Cavalcade Cup Weekend finale.
The DIRTcar Sportsman Classic now moves to Tuesday, Oct. 4, during the Super DIRT Week Kick Off Party at Weedsport Speedway, paying $2,500-to-win.
The Super DIRTcar Series resumes its championship tour on Saturday, Sept. 24, at Albany-Saratoga Speedway.
The 100-lap race boasts a $10,000 payday and will award a 50th NAPA Auto Parts Super DIRT Week guaranteed starting spot.
