VIVIAN, La. — Koty Adams registered his second Bob Hilbert Sportswear Short Track Super Series Fueled By Sunoco Ollie’s Cajun Region victory in three events Saturday night in a dominant performance at Ark-La-Tex Speedway.
Adams picked up $1,200 for his efforts in round No. 3 of the Day Motor Sports point series.
“Frank Lofton, my car owner, gives me everything I need to race,” Adams said.
“This is my kind of track,” Adams, the point leader, said of the D-shaped facility known as the Land of the Three Wide.
The win was Adams’ fourth in the series. He opened the 2023 campaign in April with a triumph at 105 Speedway in Cleveland, Texas.
Adams led from flag-to-flag on a tacky red clay surface over two-time series champion Caleb Dillard and Patrik Daniel emerged from a battle with Anthony Meek for third. Meek was fourth and Darrell ‘Brother’ Fowlkes placed fifth.
The 25-lap main was slowed by just two cautions: lap 10 for James Griffin’s left-rear flat tire and lap 23 when Keith Badiali’s No. 35 slowed with smoke.
